Bob at the Office Today
After departing the Enid fix, F-4 RTU in PHX, remote F-4C/D at Kunsan AB, ROK. FAC tour (O-2) at Shaw, F-15 at HMN, TAC IG (F-15, Stan/Eval, etc.), Ft. Leavenworth (School - not prison, tho they’re in the same spot), PACAF Staff (OPS Plans Div Chief), F-15 (again) HMN. Retired from AF in 1990, working for American Airlines 19 days later. Flying out of ORD (Chicago O’Hare) for the past 21 years. Spent 5 months on the DC-10 panel (Flt Engineer), MD-80 (FO & Capt), F-100 Capt, and currently 737 Capt. Since I slid in under the age 65 FAA ruling, I am still hanging around for a little longer, much to the chagrin of some of my FOs.
Currently, I am between wives. From my first “Touch and Go”, I’ve got three great adults and 5 grandchildren. Michael and Jamie (and their three) are at Nellis - he’ll be in school by the time we reunite after giving up the A-10 C/C position in the Fighter Weapons School. Daughter Diana (two little ones) and hubby Mike are teachers in the Chicago suburbs. Jonathan is hanging with dear ole Dad in Woodstock (not the Hippy one, the one where they filmed Groundhog Day) while he gets some more education.
Look forward to seeing everyone in the Springs and introducing you to Holly - and the rest of the Story.
